What RipRoom keeps, and why

Last updated September 15, 2026

Who we are

RipRoom is software for card break shops, run by Peak Logic Media Inc. in Alberta, Canada. Each shop on RipRoom (for example, a breaker's own site) uses it to sell spots, run breaks, sell cards and ship them. Questions about your information go to tyler@peaklogicos.com.

What we collect

  • Your account: your name, email address, and your Discord account if you link it.
  • What you buy and win: the breaks and spots you claim, cards you buy, the results you get, store credit, and messages or chat you send to a shop.
  • Shipping: the address you give so a shop can send your cards, and tracking numbers.
  • Payments: whether an e-transfer was received and the amounts. RipRoom does not store card numbers; if card payments are offered, they are handled by our payment processor.
  • If you run a shop or sell: staff email addresses, and, if you connect eBay, a key from eBay that lets RipRoom act on your eBay account in the ways you approved, your eBay username, your listings, and your eBay orders — including the buyer's eBay username, what sold and for how much.
  • Card photos and details you upload, and where each card is stored if you use the warehouse.
  • Basic records needed to keep the service working and safe, such as sign-in times and an activity log of changes.

Why we use it

To run breaks and deliver what you bought; to let shops confirm payments, ship and answer you; to list, price, store and track cards for shops and sellers; to keep accounts secure and prevent fraud; and to meet legal and tax requirements. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising on other sites.

Who sees it

  • The shop you deal with. Your purchases and details at a shop are visible to that shop. Shops on RipRoom are kept apart — one shop can't see another shop's customers.
  • Services that run RipRoom for us: hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase), email delivery (Resend), Discord (if you link it), eBay (if you connect it), Anthropic (to read card photos and product information), and a payment processor if card payments are used. They get only what they need to do that job.
  • When the law requires it.

Some of these services store information outside Canada, including in the United States.

eBay

Connecting eBay is your choice. RipRoom only gets the access you approve on eBay's own page, and you can disconnect at any time from your settings, after which RipRoom stops using your account. When eBay tells us an eBay account has been closed, we delete that account's connection and remove its username from our sales records.

How long we keep it, and how it's protected

We keep information while your account or the shop's records need it, and for as long as tax and business records must be kept. Keys to connected accounts are stored where no browser can read them and only our server uses them. Information travels encrypted.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing tyler@peaklogicos.com. Some records — like a completed sale a shop needs for its books — may have to be kept, but we'll remove what we can and tell you what we can't.

Changes
